Are You Prepared For What You Prayed For?

Are you prepared for what you have been praying for?

Are you mentally prepared for what you have been praying for?

Are you spiritually prepared for what you have been praying for?

Are you physically prepared for what you have been praying for?

For months, I had been praying that God releases me from my job. I wanted to be released to a place of peace, a place where I was cultivated, a place where I found joy. I was at a point where I felt my light being dimmed and I constantly watched the clock for the day to end.

I prayed and cried and prayed and cried and every time I thought another door would open- it ultimately was the door to the vault of my heart that needed to be re-evaluated.

and finally, it happened...

My company was in the middle of a reorganization and I was a part of the reorganization. When it happened I had such peace, I had no remorse, no ill feelings. I knew and still know that I am going to be okay and that I will recover from this.

I always say to be specific with what you want but be open to how God delivers it. I was specific, I would have loved to have secured another career opportunity before experiencing this however God's purpose prevails over my preference.

So many times we pray for an increase in finances, the home, the car, the increase in followers, and subscribers, while nothing is wrong with praying for those things it is just as important that we pray to become a person that can handle the weight of those things that we prayed for.

Instead of praying for an increase in finances, we should pray that we steward well over what we have

Instead of praying for just the home, pray that God equips you to be able to manage the home the way that he desires you to

Instead of praying for an increase in followers and subscribers, pray that God connects you with those that you are assigned to pour into and vice versa.

Do you feel that you are truly prepared for what you have been praying for?
