28 Jewels .. I AM THANKFUL FOR
Each Thanksgiving, I am always excited; I love the holidays; last Thanksgiving, I wasn't too thankful because I knew I would have to return to a job that I did not thoroughly enjoy. I saw many things through the lens of a place of employment that made me unfilled.
Oh, how the times I have changed from last year to this year. Hence, I am sharing 28 Jewels I AM THANKFUL FOR; these are not in any order precisely.
Life - After personally experiencing coronavirus, I value life on a whole different level - the fact that Ed and I experienced this virus together makes me appreciate us more- the story could've been different.
Purpose- My purpose in helping others live a CROWNED life in Christ- I don't just focus on one aspect of the person; I focus on making sure you are whole in Christ and this world.
Career - I love my career; I went from a job to a career amid a pandemic - GOD IS GOOD!
Ed- He's the visible revelation of Gods invisible manifestation
Peace - I remember the days I prayed for peace; I prayed for clarity. I remember affirming that if it cost me my peace, it's too expensive; it's been three years since I prayed those words, and I am living in it.
Home- I am very extraverted; however, I love my home; it is my sanctuary and a place I thoroughly enjoy; home is the foundation that sets the tone for seeing ourselves and entering the world.
Rest-Home is where I rest, not just to close my eyes and sleep but to rest my soul; it's through the proper rest where I can show up and fulfill the purpose that God has for me.
Kingsskid- This is my purpose- it's the place that I share my wisdom with the world; it's the place that forces me to see the world differently. It's the place that allows my dreams not to be tainted.
Wisdom- Wisdom isn't something everyone has- Wisdom is applied knowledge; it's how we use what God is teaching me on the earth.
The Journey- The journey to get here hasn't been comfortable; however, I try my best to live out that the journey is better with Jesus.
The Crucifixion - The CROWNED life will require crucifixion, it will require us to kill our flesh; this year I had to die to competition, comparison, entitlement to the crown of collaboration and celebration can reign, we must deny ourselves daily
Accountability- There are people in my life that keep me accountable; you are within that group of people. Accountability loves, cheers, corrects me when I need it, and even when I don't think I need it.
Clarity - I see not just what's in front of me physically, but now I look to see what's going on in the spiritual realm and understand how what's going on in the spiritual affecting me in the physical domain.
Family - We've grown closer; we start to understand and love each other right where we are, and that's pretty amazing
My Board of Directors- If you don't have one- get one; my board of directors helped propel me into my career. They created spaces for me to learn, grow, and thrive.
The Masterclasses and Bible Studies- One person from my board told me that I would host events this year, and I didn't believe her; this year, Kingsskid has its first Masterclass, and the Bible Study series was so transformative.
Hebrews 11 - This is my favorite bible passage; this passage is the Hall of Fame for the Bible; it describes what people in the Bible accomplished by faith-
Past - The past is the foundation that I would not be the person I am today without everything I experience in the past.
Present -My now is present; it's pretty peaceful here.
Future- I don't know much about the future, but I know who holds it, which brings me comfort.
My Tribe- My tribe has kept me and covered me this year, and I am thankful for that.
Prayer- It's the communication line to God, and that communication line has increased immensely, and I am proud and thankful for that.
Grace-When I understood the magnitude of his grace for me, that grace was able to be extended to others.
Healthy Heart - When my heart isn't healthy, my work is not beneficial, and I cannot ultimately live a crowned life. I now know what Soloman meant when he stated, Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Overcoming Competition and Comparison- This is a major one for me. I didn't realize that I had competition and comparison sit on the throne of my heart until I kept being convicted by it. I am so happy that I have overcome it and now can teach others how to overcome it.
My Spiritual Growth - Reading God's word and growing in his word not because I have to, but because I desire to have a relationship to grow with God.
Financial Wisdom- Finances are a vital part of life; I am excited about the growth in our finances and how we manage our finances.
You - I'm thankful for you to be on this CROWNED Life journey with me
