To be Kingdom-Minded and Corporate Living is to pursue the rule and reign of God in our words, thoughts, and actions in the places where we conduct business and engage in employment.

I remember sitting in her office and she asked me, do you think all these people are coming to my office to talk about business? No, this is a ministry I am storing up in heaven. I was baffled to see this woman so passionate and vocal about spreading the gospel and ministering to others in Corporate Spaces. She excelled at her role but never neglected the ultimate mission. I wanted to be like her; she was the epitome of Kingdom-Minded Corporate Living. It has taken me 6 years to get to the place where I am today. The last 3 have been the most defining for me on my journey. I want to break down to you what it means to be Kingdom-Minded Corporate Living.

Kingdom

The Christian’s Headquarters is an eternal location where God established his reign and rule for us to abide by in every aspect of our lives.

Everything we need, everything we desire comes from the headquarters, when I was working in retail, I worked at the "set store" the store where people from the corporate headquarters office would come to set up merchandise for the next season take pictures and send those pictures with directions for other stores to show them a template of what the next season styles would be. One thing that I noticed was that when our co-workers were coming from the Corporate office, many customers were confused and couldn't tell who was a part of the corporate headquarters and who was a part of the store. Today in our world it's the same, nonbelievers are having a hard time understanding who are the real Christians vs the Fake ones. God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are the board- the kingdom is where rule and reign are established. We are the CEO we are to execute and abide by his rule and reign in every area of our lives.

Minded

Inclined to think in a way that honors God through our word, thought, and deed

The mind is the control center for the body, and the Kingdom is the control center for our lives, when our mind is controlled by the Kingdom of God we can have thoughts and deeds postured in a position that pleases God.

Phillippians 4:8 Paul states And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

One method that has transformed my way of thinking is the power of asking myself, are the thoughts pure, honorable, right, and lovely? If the thoughts are not in alignment with the scripture then scripture isn't wrong I am wrong and I must take the time to debunk the thoughts in my mind that are not in alignment with the Messiah's word

Corporate

The organization with whom we conduct business and engage in employment.

We all interact with corporate organizations whether we are employed by them or have clients that work for them or interact with them through their products or services. Corporate places are not exempt from experiencing the goodness of God

Living

The pursuit of a lifestyle; active or thriving

We are to consistently pursue an active and thriving lifestyle in Christ, one where freedom and grace are available for us to be Kingdom-Minded Corporate Living. The pursuit is full of twists and turns, trials and triumphs, it also requires your active participation to pursue purpose.
