As many may know, I have a baby sister that attends Dillard University. She asked me about myself for a few weeks because she was working on a project. I had to answer questions and send her pictures. I thought nothing much of it; however, she was adamant about me not seeing this project until after she presented it to the class. She and my fiancee worked together. He proofread it too. Finally, one day at work, she texted me a snippet of what she wrote about me, and I wasn't prepared.
After reading her paper monument, I spoke with my dad about it, and he brought it to my attention. He said, "out of all the people she could have selected, she selected YOU."
Being a mentor is something that I enjoy. I am who I am because of the village that I have. My mentors are a part of my village, so anytime I can pour into the lives of others, it's my way of giving what my mentors have given me and continuously give me. T
Just as my baby sister chose me, Jesus was selected by his father as the ultimate sacrifice for you and me.
